QLF LEADERSHIP PROGRAM VOLUNTEER

QLF is seeking a motivated volunteer to help with several communications tasks associated with QLF’s Leadership Program.
These tasks may inlcude:
- Creating a bilingual program brochure
- Helping to edit film footage in order to create a short promotional film
- Administering a survey of recent QLF Canada alumni
- Assisting with funding research tasks
Qualifications
This position requires a general understanding of QLF’s program goals, strong writing skills, preferably in both English and French, and a high level of comfort using desktop design and film editing software. Background working or studying environmental issues would be a further asset. A pleasant and flexible approach is essential.
Although this position in non-remunerated, it represents an excellent opportunity to further develop skills in the above-mentioned areas, to learn more about environmental conservation work in Eastern Canada, and to be part of a small but busy team of conservation professionals.
Schedule
The volunteer would be expected to work with us from our Montreal Office between one and three days per week, depending on his/her availability. The position extends through December, 2008, with the possibility of renewal in 2009.
